Job Summary:

As a Sales Administrator, you play a key role in supporting the sales team and ensuring outstanding service for both existing and prospective customers. You work closely with customers, sales, production, and other internal departments to coordinate requests, manage quotations, and support business growth. Through your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach, you help ensure that customer requirements are met accurately and on time while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs) accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate with customers and internal sales team members to obtain information and documentation required to complete quotation requests
  • Maintain automated quoting systems and supporting documentation related to quotations and awarded business
  • Support sales and production teams in servicing both existing and new business opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal departments to meet customer expectations, project requirements, and established timelines
  • Ensure all internal documents, records, and procedures are completed accurately and maintained in designated systems and Teams folders
  • Assist in the ongoing development and support of customer relationships
  • Monitor and track quoting activities to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of open items
  • Provide administrative support to the sales department as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; additional business, sales, or administrative training preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in customer service, sales administration, or a related role required
  • Automotive manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged sitting and computer use, occasional movement throughout office and manufacturing areas, and the ability to lift or move office materials and supplies as needed
