Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, senor, motor, servo, and automated systems.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Install and maintain motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems.
- Firmware and Networking support to include updates and managing.
- Maintaining maintenance logs and analyzing test results.
- Build and test new technology or prototype fixtures.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach machinery components.
- Conduct analysis of equipment failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage electrical work, welding , and industrial maintenance procedures according to safety procedures & OSHA.
- Assist in training team members on the use of mechanical tools, schematics interpretation, and safety practices related to industrial electrician work.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and optimize manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on industrial maintenance or technical service roles.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters effectively.
- Knowledge of welding techniques specific to welding standards is required.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex electromechanical issues quickly and accurately.
- Previous field service experience supporting manufacturing operations roles is advantageous.
- Two year's Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and control system diagnostics in manufacturing environment.
- Two year's experience working with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems within industrial settings.
- Associates degree or technical certifications in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology or Industrial Maintenance, required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, handling materials safely, operating equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 25–50 lbs., with sufficient strength, coordination, and stamina to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
