Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer service. This role coordinates customer orders, special projects, quotations, and production requirements while maintaining accurate system data and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders, quotations, work orders, prototypes, and special projects through company systems.
- Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring timely communication and resolution of inquiries.
- Coordinate orders across production, logistics, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and maintain accurate order, pricing, shipping, and customer records.
- Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to support customer requirements and special projects.
- Monitor customer service performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and help resolve issues related to products, processes, customer requirements, and quality systems.
- Comply with all safety, environmental, and quality management system requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, customer service, or order management environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Experience with quoting processes, purchase orders, contract reviews, and engineering change notices (ECNs).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and Quality Management Systems.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding and data entry.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Occasional bending, reaching, and walking throughout the facility.
- May require additional hours to support customer needs, month-end activities, or special projects.
